IDT sales subsidiary founded in Poland

Headquartered in the western Polish city of Poznan, IDT Biologika Sp.z.o.o. was founded in August, 2016 to serve Polish veterinarians specializing in diseases in pigs and large hog farms. This newly founded subsidiary of IDT Animal Health guarantees access to innovative, ground- breaking solutions for improving the health of both piglets and sows as well as access to intensive consultation provided by the technical service staff now in Poland. The representatives of IDT in Poland are Dr. Jacek Fabczak as head of the subsidiary and Key Account Manager, and Dr. Robert Panek as Technical Service Manager.

“It is precisely the innovative products of IDT for veterinarians and hog farmers that are the basis for the globalization of IDT Animal Health. We are pleased to be able to expand the network of Euro-pean subsidiaries with an IDT office in Poznan,” explains Andreas Kastenbauer, CEO of IDT Biologika. Heiko Rüdiger, the person at IDT Animal Health responsible for the founding of the Polish subsidiary, continues, “Our primary target markets are the Polish regions where hog farming is concentrated, such as Wielkopolskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, and Pomorskie in the western part of Poland. This is where IDT vaccines for pigs have a very good reputation among veterinarians and hog farmers.”

Successful premiere of the IDT subsidiary at trade show in Pawlowice

The new IDT subsidiary made its public debut for Polish veterinarians specializing in pig diseases at the evaluation conference of the International Congress of the Pig Veterinarian Society (IPVS) in Pawlowice. IDT introduced itself to Polish veterinary opinion leaders during the event. More than 50 veterinari-ans were informed of the founding of the Polish subsidiary during an IDT-sponsored expert presen-tation on vaccinations in hogs. IDT Animal Health was represented by its own booth at the show, where intensive discussion about all IDT products took place.
